Job Summary

Onshore Outsourcing’s Facilities & Infrastructure Director is accountable for the sustainable growth and management of the company’s IT hardware, software, and service infrastructure, and the operation of its various facilities. As such, this role plays a vital part in the operation and growth of our company. With direct ties to executive leadership across all areas of the company, this role strives to anticipate needs for not just the standard delivery components of our company, but also in areas where Information Technology and Facilities may be leveraged for market differentiation and direct client support

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Analyzes complex business needs presented by internal and external clients and recommends technical solutions.
  • Continually engages with Onshore Outsourcing leadership to maintain insight into strategic company objectives with the goal of leveraging Information Technology and Facilities to differentiate our services from our competitors.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a hardware and software infrastructure sufficient for current company operations. Plan and implement improvements necessary to support company objectives.
  • Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing software applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards and procedures for implementing technical solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training for all aspects of the IT and Facilities departments.
  • Oversee the maintenance and support of hardware and software assets, IT-related services, Facilities-related services, and facilities equipment and resources used across all Onshore Outsourcing locations.
  •  Build and maintain an environment of continuous improvement of IT and Facilities services and  infrastructure utilizing ITIL and/or other service management frameworks.
  • Manage and direct all Facilities and IT staff.
  • Collaborate with Workforce Development to develop and implement training programs to educate employees on best practices, policies, and utilization of all supported systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and train employees on Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity procedures for all Onshore Outsourcing locations. Work with departments to customize standard procedures for department or client specific needs.
  • Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcing firms, and contractors to secure products and services.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain best practices for all aspects of IT infrastructure management and Facilities management

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience managing complex implementation, maintenance, and enhancement projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of Facilities and Facility Management.
  • Working understanding of IT security best practices across a broad spectrum of platforms is required
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills are required
  • Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and external contacts.
  • Committed to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Working knowledge of US data privacy laws and information security best practices a plus.
  • Industry specific security certification knowledge (PCI, ITIL, etc.) a plus.
  • Must possess the mobility to work in an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to maintain audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, communicating with others, reading and writing and operating office equipment.
  • Must be able to use a telephone to communicate verbally.
  • Must be able to communicate through written means.
  • Must be able to lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as computers, network equipment, and peripherals.
  • Must be able to climb, kneel, stoop, and crawl as necessary to maintain and deploy hardware and cabling in a facility.
