Job Summary

The Marketing Manager will work in Marketing Department assisting with all aspects of the proposal, qualification, and presentation development process, including writing, editing, and lay-outs of marketing materials for both lead generation and business development activities. This position will provide support to business development team and company branding efforts. This position will also assist with development of content for promotional materials (i.e. brochures, newsletters, email and website content).

Essential Job Functions 

Work closely with technical and management staff from various departments in preparation of presentations—including assisting with development of strategy and materials. Work with graphics and technical staff to develop marketing and promotional materials– this includes writing and editing content for newsletters, brochures, website, press releases, social media, conference submissions, etc. Coordinate client site visits, tradeshows, and other marketing, internal, and community related events, as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing website content and/or email marketing effort
  • Experience with digital market solution (Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot, etc) a must.
  • Experience with CRM integrated marketing, social media and email campaign solution management
  • A solid understanding of targeted marketing performance metrics, testing methodology, segmentation and optimization strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; must be very comfortable with data analysis and be able to use data to make decisions. Must be comfortable with data manipulation in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact frequently with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent writing and editing/proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, preferred. 
  • Public speaking and training experience, a plus 
  • Travel required on some occasions
